Book Blogger New Year’s Challenge–Best Book of 2013

Yesterday was  Day 6 of Parajunkee’s Book Blogger New Year’s Challenge.  I missed posting because I was too busy moving snow around.  Ugh!

I skipped Day 5’s topic – Worst book of 2013.  If a book doesn’t catch my interest within the first 50 pages or so, I set it aside and don’t spend too much time thinking about it again.  I have way too many unread books to dwell on the ones that didn’t work for me, and the mediocre ones don’t usually stick around in my brain for too long, so I didn’t have much to say about bad books.

Now, today’s topic works better for me.  I read a lot of good books in 2013, and here are some of them, in no order.

Through the Ever Night

Racing Savannah

Waking Up Dead

Under a Graveyard Sky

Luck of the Dragon

The Testing

When the Stars Threw Down Their Spears

Riding on Air

What’s Left of Me

Destiny, Rewritten

The Space Between Us

Also Known As

The Lucy Variations

Sleeping Beauty’s Daughters

The Best Man’s Baby
