Book Blogger New Year’s Challenge–Pros and Cons of Blogging

Today is day 2 of Parajunkee’s Book Blogger New Year’s Challenge – Blogging Pros and Cons.  Thanks again for hosting, Rachel!

It’s fun to share my opinions of books with others

Interacting with authors and publishers is a blast

I’m more open to reading outside of my comfort zone

I have an outlet for my creative side

I have access to review galleys

The Drama, Drama, Drama gets tiring, so this year I am ignoring it

Pressure to post on a regular basis

I hate the backend management, including SEO

Deadlines.  Deadlines suck, so I am trying to back away from them, because it makes reading a chore

I have access to review galleys – yup, it’s a pro and an con.  Offering me a review copy is like offering an addict crack.  You didn’t really think I’d say no, did you?

Drama is tiring, isn’t it? I try to stay out of the drama as much as possible and eventually it all blows over. Until the next big blow-up of course. *L*

I know what you mean with the deadlines…I’ve pretty much stopped accepting any tours or review requests that require me to read by a certain date
