My Bitty Babies!!!

The only thing that I love more than my books are my critters. I have three beasties, and they are all special to me.

Buu is a rescue, and despite some quirks here and there, he has settled down and learned how to trust people again. He may be over one hundred pounds, but he thinks he is a little lap dog. Greenies are his favorite thing in the world, and he makes sure he lets us know when he wants one!

This is one of the few moments when he is actually lying down and just chilling. He would much rather be running around the house, playing.

He’s eating broccoli here. Hard to see, I know, but fresh veggies are among his favorite treats. Nothing beats the goodness of a Greenie, though.

This is Blondie. She is an American Saddlebred. She knows that she is pretty, and she acts like a prima donna, but I love her anyway.

Here she is, staring off into the sunset. Probably wishing someone would bring her a fresh flake of hay. One thing the ponies love to do is eat. All the time, eating! She gets a bit pudgy in the winter, but after she goes back to work in the spring, she quickly looks like the athlete she is.

Blondie at Ludington. She shows in the Show Pleasure division, and she rides and drives. When she feels like it.

Elle:

This is Elle. She is a Morgan. I don’t have very many pictures of her, because she’s a new member of the family. She is going on two years old in this picture, and will hopefully be showing in the Park Harness division this summer. (She did!)

This is Nyk. He is also a Morgan, but he shows in the Classic Pleasure division. I don’t own him any more, but he helped me gain so much confidence and taught me how to show. He will always be special to me.
