Meet Risa Jones from Keri Arthur’s Darkness Splintered and Giveaway!

[Manga Maniac Cafe] Good morning, Risa!  Can you please describe yourself in five words or less.

[Risa Jones] Halfbreed, loves Coke, cake

[Manga Maniac Cafe] Can you share a typical day in the life of Risa Jones?

[Risa Jones] Manic just about sums it up! Between being threatened by all manner of supernatural folk and trying to find the keys to heaven and hell while hunting down a sorceress intent on bringing hell to Earth, I really haven’t got time to scratch. Although I did have time to make a baby ;)

[Manga Maniac Cafe] Can you describe your relationship with your father?

[Risa Jones] I haven’t got a relationship with him. Hell, the only reason he’s in my life now is because he needs me to find the damn keys HE lost. And threatening to kill me and my friends is not exactly getting him in my good books.

[Manga Maniac Cafe] Why do you think the vampire council is so critical of you?

[Risa Jones] Because the vampire council is filled with old fuddy-duddy’s who have lost touch with reality and their humanity.

[Manga Maniac Cafe] If you could change one thing you’ve done in your life, what would it be?

[Risa Jones] I would not have made the damn deal to work for Hunter! The bitch is insane…

[Manga Maniac Cafe] What’s one thing you won’t leave home without?

[Risa Jones] Money. Because without it, you can’t buy the essentials in life—Coke and cake .

[Manga Maniac Cafe] What do you like to do when you aren’t searching for lost items or trying to save the lives of all of your friends?

[Risa Jones] Run a cafe with said friends, or go for a cruise on my old Ducati

[Manga Maniac Cafe] Can you share your dreams for the future in five words or less.

[Risa Jones] Health, happiness, children

[Manga Maniac Cafe] Thank you!

[Risa Jones] You are most welcome!

[Manga Maniac Cafe] Good luck finding that key!

ABOUT DARKNESS SPLINTERED

Risa has angered several powerful people, and she’s starting to feel the pressure from all sides. She also finds herself under the scrutiny of the vampire council, some of whom consider her a monster who should be destroyed. But they offer her a bloody bargain: Take on the lethal head of the council and others will support her.
As the search for the keys to hell heats up, Risa realizes that she has no choice. For the sake of the people she loves, she must find the keys—and get rid of Hunter—before the next gate is opened and brings the world closer to all hell breaking loose….

Risa is so similar to Riley. You guys are like two peas in a pod. It’s like having Riley back in action, but with more exploration to the Kerarthurian world. Unfortunately, I’m three books behind now… so congrats Risa on making a baby! :)
