The Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves–August 25th Edition

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba of The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.  This is a weekly meme where we can share news of the week and highlight new books received.

I had another crazy week – this time for destroying my budget.  I have been having a hard time reading because I couldn’t see, so I made a vision appointment and discovered that I needed new glasses.  I can see again!  Woohoo!!!!

Then, the home button on my iPhone decided to get wonky, so I upgraded from my iPhone 4 to a Galaxy S4.  The first day was very frustrating because AT&T accidentally turned off my texting during the upgrade process, and I didn’t figure it out for about 4 hours.  Then I spent about 30 minutes on tech support calls with the very Chris who finally got it straightened out and to figure out why I couldn’t send MMS.  Yesterday I copied my data over using Samsung’s Smart Switch desktop app, and now I can say that I like the phone so much better than my old one!  I’m still figuring some things out, but I’m glad I switched from Apple’s iOS to Android.

My husband got the new iphone 5 when it first came out and traded it back for an android. He likes it so much better. I love my ipad, but I have an android phone too and prefer it. Glad they got it all fixed for you, sounds like it was a pain. Enjoy the new books. I am looking forward to Scorched. 🙂

I’m still not very much into phones. I am doing just fine with a Tracfone for basic calling and texting. Looks like you got some good books. I have never read anything by Mari Mancusi but have a few of her earlier books on my TBR mountain. Come see what I got this week at Inside of a Dog and Ms. Martin Teaches Media. Happy reading!

I love to hear when people like Android better than iPhone! 🙂

I’m not familiar with the books you got this week, but I hope you love them!

I’ve not been overly fond of the other “angel” books I’ve read but this series sounds like a lot more fun.
