Cover Shot! The Prince of Lies by Anne Lyle

Cover Shot! is a regular feature here at the Café. I love discovering new covers, and when I find them, I like to share. More than anything else, I am consumed with the mystery that each new discovery represents. There is an allure to a beautiful cover. Will the story contained under the pages live up to promise of the gorgeous cover art?

I have loved every cover for Anne Lyle’s Night’s Masque series, and the cover for The Prince of Lies is no exception.  What a bad-ass cover!  I have these on my TBR pile, and I’m hoping that I’ll get to them soon!  In the meantime, I’ll just drool over the covers.

Elizabethan spy Mal Catlyn has everything he ever wanted—his twin brother Sandy restored to health, his family estate reclaimed and a son to inherit it—but his work isn’t over yet. With Sandy’s help Mal learns to harness his own magic in the fight against the renegade skraylings, but it may be too late to save England. Schemes set in motion decades ago are at last coming to fruition, and the barrier between the dreamlands and the waking world is wearing thin…
