The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba of The Caffeinated Book Reviewer. This is a weekly meme where we can share news of the week and highlight new books received. Yesterday we went and met the dogs we are going to adopt.
This is our little girl. She is very reserved, but warms up to you once she gets to know you.
This is our butterball. He was left abandoned in a foreclosed house for 8 weeks with no food or water. He had wasted away to only 48 pounds when he was discovered. He is probably about 140 now, but he should probably shed about 10 pounds to avoid health issues as he gets older. He will be my workout buddy, because I need to lose 10 pounds, too.
Due to other commitments, we aren’t going to bring the dogs home until the end of the month. I’ll share more photos as they get settled in.

I think it great for ya’ll to take in the dogs. We have a rescue dog, that we have had since she was 4 weeks old. She was a lot of work at the beginning, but she is a best dog. You got some awesome books this week. Happy reading..

As a mom to 3 furbabies, I couldn’t imagine my life w/out them! (I say this as I’m about to go outside and pick up poop from the backyard. *that* I could live w/out out. But like I tell my BF, it’s time to flush the toilet!)

Oh I love the pictures of the dogs! Our Max was a rescue (from death row , no less) and about two years old when we got him. I love him almost as I love my dear hubby! Isn’t it amazing just how many wonderful books are out there?
