The Sunday Post and Stacking The Shelves–The Tale of No Water

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba of The Caffeinated Book Reviewer. This is a weekly meme where we can share news of the week and highlight new books received.

Last week I returned from vacation to discover that our well was not working.  Not a pleasant discovery.  Because it was the Labor Day weekend, it wasn’t repaired until Tuesday, so we packed another bag and headed to the Sheraton in Livonia, which was offering a bargain rate for Monday night.  This hotel was quite impressive, and I appreciated the complimentary drinks and appetizer that the front desk offered after hearing my woes.  I would stay at another Sheraton without a second thought, and I just wished I wasn’t so stressed out about the well so I could have actually enjoyed myself more.  Anyway, after the repairs were completed, I had a mountain of household chores to catch up on, so the blog has taken a backseat for the past week.  Hopefully I will be back on track by next weekend.  I hope all of you had a better weekend!

OMG – I was just reading about Covet on twitter! A few bloggers were talking about it!! Crazy!! I heard it had every supernatural in it. And Doom looks like my kind of book – kick butt female lead, perhaps? I’m looking that one up 😀

Have a great week! My Sunday Post/Clock Rewinder
