Cover Shot! is a regular feature here at the Café. I love discovering new covers, and when I find them, I like to share. More than anything else, I am consumed with the mystery that each new discovery represents. There is an allure to a beautiful cover. Will the story contained under the pages live up to promise of the gorgeous cover art?
I think the cover for Reaper by L S Murphy is really cute! The model looks a little embarrassed about luging the scythe around, and I can’t blame her. It doesn’t accessorize with the rest of her outfit. It’s so big, clunky, and awkward, and I would try to hide it, too! I hope the book is as quirky and fun as the cover.
