Cover Shot! Midnight Rescue by Elle Kennedy

Cover Shot! is a regular feature here at the Café.  I love discovering new covers, and when I find them, I like to share.  More than anything else, I am consumed with the mystery that each new discovery represents.  There is an allure to a beautiful cover.  Will the story contained under the pages live up to promise of the gorgeous cover art?

I don’t know if it’s the cover or the thought of being on the run with a sexy mercenary that makes Midnight Rescue by Elle Kennedy so appealing.  I’m always up for a little danger and intrigue, so I added this to my TBR.

DANGEROUS. RUTHLESS. SAVAGE. AND SHE’S THE GOOD GUY.

Adopted by an army ranger, Abby Sinclaire was molded into a master of self-defense. Now, she’s an assassin using raw nerve to always come out on top. Her latest assignment is to snuff out a dangerous arms dealer hiding in the underground Colombian sex trade. When the sting goes wrong, mercenary Kane Woodland is recruited as back-up. But their unexpected primal attraction could put them both at risk. Their only rule:get out of that hellhole alive.

In stores May 2012

It is a nice cover, Julie. I think it’s the colors I like best and that target there behind the words. But a thumbs up from Shannon Butcher and the intriguing blurb is what really make me want to read it. Thanks for sharing!

She looks like someone I’d want to be friends with and certainly have on my side.

I bow down to the cover gods :) I’m always terrified when I wait to see what covers I get. Usually it’s a hero who looks NOTHING the way I wrote or pictured him. Good thing this one has a heroine, huh?
