In My Mailbox–October 23rd Edition

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme, and it is hosted by The Story SirenGo here for a full description of IMM.

Check out my current contests here.

I spent all of last week fighting a cold, and it still has me pretty wiped out.  I haven’t had the energy to do much more than suffer through work and then come home and go to bed, so content on the blog was a little light last week, and that will probably trickle down to next week as well.  I did get some great books to help cheer me up, even if I wasn’t actually feeling in the mood to read any of them.

New Arrivals at the Café:

Tempest by Julie Cross

A Darkness Forged in Fires by Chris Evans

The Light of Burning Shadows by Chris Evans

Ashes of a Black Frost by Chris Evans

Shadow Ops: Control Point by Myke Cole

The Cross by Scott G Mariani

A Lady Awakened by Cecelia Grant (Thank you, Cecelia!)

Dear Creature by Jonathan Case

My Own Worst Frenemy by Kimberly Reid

Stories for Nighttime and Some for the Day by Ben Loory

Black Jack Vol 16 by Osamu Tezuka

Twin Spica Vol 10 by Kou Yaginuma

Highlight of my week!

The week before last, I was in OKC at a horse show.  Elle tried her best, and I am very proud of how much she has progressed this year.  After some time outside being a horse, I think we will have even more success next year.

My girl and Travis after winning the Reserve World Championship 3 YR old Park Saddle class.  Hopefully next year I will be the one in the saddle!

What was the highlight of your week?  Please share!

A great big thanks to the publishers for their continued support!

What did you get? Please leave links and share!

Elle is beautiful! Seriously, I might be in love.

You got a great stack this week. I saw Tempest at the top and am so super jealous. The premise, the cover and the stakes sound so incredible! I hope you enjoy it and all your reads this week.
