There is a theme to this week’s Teaser Tuesday and that is good things come to those who wait. Both of these books sat neglected for longer than they should have. For a full description of Teaser Tuesday, check the bottom of this post.
Wow! I don’t know why I put off Dia Reeves’ Bleeding Violet for so long! Oh, probably because I knew it would destroy my sleep pattern because I wouldn’t be able to put it down!
“Things?”
“Things, Hanna,” said Ms. Harrison gravely. “Hungry things.” And that is only page 47!
Natsume’s Book of Friends is another title that I have delayed reading. Again, I ask, “Why?” This is a great read so far, with a nice blend of humor and melancholy.
“Since I was little, I’ve seen weird things. Things other people can’t see. They’re creatures called yokai.”
