Sakuya is a noble vampire with a big problem.  Ever since his degrading encounter with Atsumi, a vampire hunter, he’s no longer able to stomach warm tasty blood.  Instead, it makes him nauseous.  Now he’s determined to have his revenge against the sexy Atsumi for humiliating him and and nothing will get in his way!

This was a fun read.  With both supernatural and comedic elements, the story was entertaining, and I enjoyed the world of vampires that Maguro Wasabi fashioned.  Sakuya, the poor thing, is rendered helpless at the sight of blood.  Damn that Atsumi for defiling him and robbing him of his natural vampire appetites!  Instead, he’ll have to find solace as the owner of the love hotel, Hotel Necrato,  tormenting his customers as the resident S&M queen.

Sadly, even this diversion fails him to appease him. Then Atsumi pops up, quite out of the blue, after having evaded Sakuya for a year.  Atsumi is a dhampir, a half-blood born of a human woman and a vampire.  He’s also a vampire hunter, and he’s immune to vampiric powers.  Born with a crest on his tongue that renders a vampire helpless, I’m pretty sure you can guess that his tongue gets put to good use in this book.  Also, while he may be immure to Sakuya’s powers, he isn’t immune to his charms, and two have a love-hate relationship that can’t help but bring a smile to your face.  They bicker and fight, all the while trying to keep their hands off of each other.

In addition to a lightning fast pace, Necratoholic also boasts of some eye-catching artwork.  I loved the stunningly gorgeous character designs, and Sakuya’s attire will make the cosplayer in your go wild.  All of those ruffles and lace made him one pretty vampire.  Atsumi isn’t half bad, either, for a pathetic insurance salesman – what, do you think vampire hunting pays his bills?

Fun, sexy, and beautifully illustrated, Necratoholic will satisfy that BL craving gnawing away at you.
