When Kazushi confesses his love to playboy Izumi, he never expects anything will come of his declaration. After all, Izumi goes into flight mode any time a relationship gets too serious. Instead of running the other way, Izumi returns Kazushi’s passionate regard, and the two begin a tumultuous relationship. Izumi proves to be a hard one to pin down, and when he disappears, Kazushi wonders if he’s worth pursuing. Following his heart instead of his head, Kazushi decides theirs is a love worth fighting for. Will Izumi agree?
Man, Kazushi has terrible taste in guys. Sure, Izumi is sexy and good-looking, but he has some real issues. Take his flirtatious attitude. Nobody’s safe from this guy once he sets his sights on them. Plus, he’s incredibly selfish and high maintenance to boot! Level headed people like Kazushi should just steer clear of drama boys like this. Kazushi, however, has to follow where his heart leads, and he’s soon captured by Izumi’s irresistible charms. Hope he survives the experience!
I really liked the chemistry between the two leads, and their diverse personalities. If ever two people were polar opposites, it’s Kazushi and Izumi. Kazushi is down to earth and grounded in reality – he’s what most people call boring. Izumi, on the other hand, is a free spirit – he’s moved by his whims and doesn’t give others a thought as he pursues what he desires. Even still, he harbors a secret pain, and if Kazushi hopes to make their relationship last, he has to confront his lover and make him trust him and open up to his love.
Aoi Kujyou’s art is graceful and sexy, highlighting two attractive characters and their passion for each other. And there’s plenty of passion packed into these pages. Kazushi and Izumi get to know each other very well, yielding to their physical desires while struggling to overcome their differences.
Also included is the story of Kazushi and Izumi’s first meeting. Even when they were kids, Izumi was a precocious brat.
