The Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves-Treadmill Edition

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba of The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.  This is a weekly meme where we can share news of the week and highlight new books received.

Yesterday, we spent most of the day driving back and forth to my brother’s house.  He and his family are moving to Austin, TX in two weeks, and he’s trying to pare down their belongings so they don’t have to transport it down there.  We came home with a 50” plasma TV, Yamaha receiver, a Bluray player, an exercise bike, AND a treadmill, all for cheap, cheap, cheap.  Very happy with our new possessions, but worried about how we are going to drag the massively heavy treadmill into the house.  And where we are going to put it.  It will probably take a couple of weekends to recycle the old TV and make room for the gym equipment, but I am so happy that I’ll be able to stay inside, warm and dry, when the weather is inclement and still be able to bike or walk.  Yay!

Through the Woods has such beautiful cover! I have to check it out later. :) Oh, Illusions of Fate! Kiersten White is an amazing author and I hope this book will be just as amazing as her other series. Happy reading! :)

Congrats on your new possessions! I totally want a stationary bike. I don’t have anywhere to put it though. I also got The Fall and Illusions of Fate this week! Have a good one!

I would love an indoor gym since I never can find the time to go out and walk or run. It would be nice to get up while the kids are asleep and do a little walking. Can’t really leave them alone :)

The Thousand Names looks like a great book and The Fall. So many pretty covers and new books for me to check out!!!

I hope you have a fantastic week Julie! Happy Reading!

@Sandy – lol – we don’t really have anyplace for the bike (or the treadmill) either, so we’ll have to do a lot of rearranging. Thanks for stopping by!

@Michelle – I’m looking forward to putting some miles on the treadmill. Dean thinks he can teach Poppy to walk on it, which would be nice, because she is a little nuts when she don’t get enough exercise. Thanks for stopping by!

LOL is the magic word cheap ;)

I’d love an indoor gym too, but I’d have a bigger problem with the space. Hope you’ll be able to rearrange everything without too much fuzz ;)

That was really lucky getting all the nice things but yes, the downside is that you will have to find the space. I would love to have an exercise bike, but I don’t think I have the space . But hey, it’s so great not having to go to the gym.
I do love the cover of The Fall. Will check the book out later.

@Fiza – We got everything set up today, but I’m not happy with where they were placed. It’s time to get rid of some of the stuff we don’t use so we have more room!

    Thanks for stopping by!

@Peggy – the bike doesn’t really take up much space. It’s the treadmill that is in the way :( Time to go through some of the stacks of books and donate them to the library.

    Thanks for stopping by!
