Waking Up Dead (An End of Days Love Novel) (Entangled Select)
May Contain Spoilers
I loved Waking Up Dead! It’s got a little bit of everything – intense action scenes, gooey zombies, and even a romance that develops over time as the protagonists flee from the north to Texas. Jackson is a kick-ass heroine who doesn’t need anyone to take care of her, and in fact, she saves Luke many times with her fighting skills. If it hadn’t been for a recent Candy Crush addiction, I wouldn’t have been able to put it down! Curse you, Candy Crush! Read more

Votan, God of Death and War Gets a Makeover
by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff
That’s right. The God of Death and War is getting a sexy makeover. Why does he need one? Good question. He doesn’t! But what if you had the chance to waive a magic wand and make your dream man just a smidgeon dreamier, a tad more sizzling, and a hair more alpha-manlier? Would you do it? Why the hell not! That would be like saying no to those chocolate sprinkles on that sundae. Read more
Please welcome Detective Claude Desmarais to the virtual offices this morning!
[Manga Maniac Cafe] Describe yourself in five words or less.
[Claude Desmarais] I’m just an easygoing investigator. And a vampire. I guess some people might see that as important. *laughs*
[Manga Maniac Cafe] Can you share a typical day in the life of Detective Claude Desmarais?
[Claude Desmarais] I’ve devoted most of my rather long life bringing criminals to justice—for the human police, and other times for my people. My typical day involves a lot of boring hours spiced up by the occasional chase or fight. And I’ll admit my favorite days involve both.
[Manga Maniac Cafe] What three words come to mind when you think of Beatrice?
[Claude Desmarais] Intelligent. Hopeful. Beautiful. I’d have said fiery, but she would have hurt me for that. Actually, put fiery in there. Could make for a fun evening. *winks*
[Manga Maniac Cafe] What do you find most exasperating about her?
[Claude Desmarais] You are trying to get me into trouble, aren’t you? Fine. She’s stubborn and far too willing to put herself into dangerous positions when she feels like she’s doing the right thing.
[Manga Maniac Cafe] If you could change one thing you’ve done in your life, what would it be? Read more
[Manga Maniac Cafe] Describe yourself in five words or less.
[Angelle Prejean] Klutzy. Loyal. Hopeful. Horrible liar
[Manga Maniac Cafe] Can you share a typical day in the life of Angelle Prejean?
[Angelle Prejean] A typical day begins serenaded by my crazy roommate. She sings this horrible, off-key wake-up song at the top of her lungs that drives me completely batty—but there’s no staying annoyed at Sherry. She’s too lovable. Then I head out for a shift at the firehouse or stables. I’m a volunteer firefighter and teach horseback riding lessons to kids, both jobs I dreamed about since I was a kid. At the end of the day, I swing by the restaurant my two best friends own and work at, Robicheaux’s, for dinner or a drink…and try my best not to stare at the tattooed, off-limits, star-of-my-every-fantasy man behind the bar. Then it’s back home and into my well-worn flannel pajamas where I watch the Hallmark channel and pretend not to think about said tattooed, off-limits bartender, who, oh yeah, happens to be my best friend’s big brother. And way way way out of my league. Read more

October is the official release month for the all new Ever After. Ever After features paranormal, sci-fi, and horror novellas, all with the romance you’ve come to love from Entangled–just in a shorter format.
I have a ton of Entangled news, interviews, and giveaways to share with you today, so let’s start with a press release and giveaways for their Covet releases, which are available today. Is anyone reading these series? Please chime in and let me know how you like them – I haven’t had a chance to read them yet.
As long time readers of this blog know, I absolutely love all things Paranormal. So much so, that when the position for the Publicity Director of Entangled Publishing’s Paranormal Romance line, Covet, opened up, there wasn’t even a moment’s hesitation in knowing this position was perfect for me. Covets have all the sexiness, emotion, and happily ever after that readers have come to expect and love from Entangled. They are firmly grounded in the contemporary world, but each novel brings in supernatural twists, breaking the contemporary and paranormal rules, alike.
