The Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves–April 27th Edition

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba of The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.  This is a weekly meme where we can share news of the week and highlight new books received.

I have been out of town since Tuesday, which is why it’s been kind of quiet around the Café.   I packed up my horses and took them to the first horse show of the season.  They were both great!  Pixie did everything I asked for her first time showing under saddle, though by the last class she was like a little freight train.  Elle was beautiful under harness; she just decided that she didn’t want to walk.  Now we have a better idea about what we need to work on for the next show.  I’m really excited about getting down to work with them.  Both girls have a great work ethic, which makes them both so much fun to show.  I’m probably going to take them to a small show in May, and then it’s on to Morgan Gold Cup, which is always a lot of fun.  Sorry about not having any pictures; the weather was miserable until! Saturday.  Cold and rainy, and just so unpleasant to spend four days outside.  Where is Spring?
