Today I have a review and giveaway for Witherwood Reform School by Obert Skye!
If you have been following the blog, you already know that I enjoy all genres of fiction. Reading level is irrelevant. I love anything from picture books on up and I always have. When I saw Witherwood Reform School, I thought it would be worth checking out, so I was happy to hop on the blog tour. I haven’t read Obert Skye previously, but I have heard of his Pillage trilogy and have it on my TBR. Witherwood Reform School is the start of a new series about Tobias and Charlotte Eggars, a brother and sister who get themselves into more trouble than they’ve ever been in before. And to think it all started with tadpoles and gravy! Read more

5 Reasons That Private Investigators Make Great Heroes by Rebecca York
As unlikely as it sounds, the heroes of my Rockfort Security romantic suspense series—Jack Brandt, Shane Gallagher and Max Lyon—met in a Miami holding cell, after they were swept up in a drug raid at a nightclub. There they banded together to keep order among a bunch of drunks and druggies. And after they made bail, they went out for beers. During the night, they’d recognized each other’s strengths and decided to form the Rockfort Security Agency. Jack is a former Navy Seal. Shane was an Army MP. And Max Lyon is a former Baltimore City Police Detective. They each brought their special skills to the detective agency located in Rockville, Maryland, outside Washington, DC. (Hence the Rockfort name.) Read more

This morning I have an excerpt and giveaway for Running Hot by Helenkay Dimon. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy!
Ward Bennett jerked back into consciousness. One shift and he nearly wrenched his shoulder out of its socket. He didn’t need to see the plastic zip tie to know that’s what dug into his wrists and bound them behind his back.
Moving his ankle, he didn’t meet any resistance. The person who shackled him made a pretty big miscalculation. As if he needed his hands to escape. Any idiot could break a zip tie. But first he had to figure out how he got in this position and why.
That must have been one hell of a date. It was a fucking shame he couldn’t remember one minute of it. Read more

About PUSHING THE LIMIT
After their one-night fling at a wedding, archaeologist Henrietta “Harry” Markowitz thought she’d never see war hero Matt Stanning again. So when they’re paired up to investigate a military plane crash in Iraq, she’s not sure if the three-month reunion is serendipitous or cursed. What she does know is this gorgeous man lights her body on fire-and incredible sex is always a welcome distraction. Air Force Sergeant Matt Stanning has been called a hero, but he feels nothing like one when he realizes the sexy blonde in his bed is the widow of his fallen brother-in-arms. Even worse, he actually has to work with her, and she’s unearthed evidence that points to a military conspiracy. If they dig deeper, they’ll put their lives in danger. If they don’t, they’ll never know the truth-not only about the mysterious plane crash, but about each other.
