Review: Some Like it Sinful by Robbie Terman

May Contain Spoilers

Review:

Some Like it Sinful was bumped to the top of the review pile for one reason – it’s about a hockey player.  Oh, and a pastry chef.  How could I resist this combination of sugar and spice vs. tough guy brawn?  I’m from Detroit and I’ve been a Red Wings fan forever.  I live with a hockey nut, too, so there’s no escape from the madness, at least until the Wings are knocked out of the playoffs – again.  Then the whole city pouts while putting on a brave face and vowing, “We’ll go all the way next year!”  So, yeah, I wanted to read this – badly!

Review and Giveaway–Asking for Trouble by Tessa Bailey

May Contain Spoilers

Review:

In a short time, Tessa Bailey has become a favorite author.  I always get a happy tingle when she has a new release.   While not all of the elements work for me, the romances are hot, hot, hot, the character interaction keeps me engaged in the story, and the dialog is snappy and amusing.   Like today’s anticipated Thanksgiving feast,  I devoured Asking for Trouble, enjoying this guilty pleasure.

Novella Review: On His List by Wendy Sparrow

On His List (Entangled Flirts)

Review:

ZOMG, I really enjoyed this novella, and I will use a word to describe it that I typically avoid because it is so over-used.  On His List is adorable.  I loved the uptight Owen, and worried that his OCD would prevent him from seeing how perfect Remy would be for him.  Would he look past her unplanned, spontaneous exterior to the caring woman lurking under the flashy clothes and oh so not sensible shoes?  Could he get beyond her list defacing ways?

Novella Review: ‘Tis the Season to be Kissed by Amy Andrews

‘Tis the Season to be Kissed (Entangled Indulgence)

Review:

I loved this novella!  It’s sweet and sexy at the same time, and is funny as hell.  I couldn’t put my Kindle down once I started ‘Tis the Season to be Kissed, and I was completely engaged in the story from the first page.  Both protagonists are extremely likeable,  the story is told with humor, and the set up and character interactions are completely believable.   This novella blew me away with its charm, and I can hardly wait to read more by Amy Andrews.
