Fun Facts About THE WRONG BRIDE
By Gayle Callen
Hi! I’ve begun a new trilogy, “Highland Weddings,” set in Scotland. The first book is THE WRONG BRIDE, a story about an arranged marriage meant to bring peace to two warring clans. Here are a few Fun Facts to put you in the mood for my Scottish romance:
1) Scotland is a new country for me! I’ve never set a book there, and I didn’t know what I was missing. Technically, in the early eighteenth century, Scotland and England were united as Great Britain, but the Highlanders believed they’d been robbed of their rightful king. This October the second in Gwyn Cready’s Sirens of the Scottish series, First Time with a Highlander, comes out! To celebrate, Gwyn’s here to tell us a little bit more about the inspiration behind her time-travel romances AND play a quick game of “Would You Rather.”
“People often ask me why I like to write time travel romance, and it’s a two-part answer, because there are really two questions in there—why do I like to write romance, and why do I like to write time travel. Read more

SHARP SHOOTIN’ COWBOY is not a typical romance. Reid Everett and Haley Cooper are two very different personalities. They are like opposite poles of a magnet and just as powerfully attracted to one another even though they are constantly at odds. This was a risky book for me because I knew many readers would tend to side with one character over the other based on who is more closely aligned with the reader’s own socio-political views, but I had to write it anyway. Top Five Favorite #Nailedit Moments on Pinterest
My Last First Kiss heroine, Annie Carson, is a mommy blogger and makes a living by being a bit of a crafty whirlwind. I on the other hand, well. . .let’s just say I’m better off writing (and watching Richard Armitage movies). One of my favorite memes on Pinterest are the #Nailedit pictures…where people bravely attempt a recipe and fail with spectacularly hilarious results. Can you empathize or are you a craft wizard?
