Shawne from TRSI is always entertaining, and today’s panel was no exception.  First up, the new licenses -

Gakuen Alice (yay!)

Toward the Terra (you know, the old one, like, from the 80’s)

They showed some trailers:

Aria – Season 1 available Fall 08

Maria Watches Over Us – Season 1 available 7/29/08

Season 2 – Fall ’08

Season 3 – Next year

Emma Season 2 – available 10/28/08

They are releasing a remastered Tylor – hard subs from previous release will be removed.

In Fall ’08, they will be offering some new Haruhi t-shirts, as well as shirts from Ninja Nonsense, Gravitation, and "Otaku" wear.

ADV at AX08

Dropped in on the ADV panel – wasn’t expecting much info, and didn’t get much.  Here’s the scoop -

They have found another partner – can’t mention who it is, but they should make an announcement by Otakon.

They are actively pursing new licenses.

They would like to finish publishing the manga titles that they have started.  Emphasis on would like to.

Don’t expect any new manga acquisitions for at least 12 months.

They were pretty tight lipped about giving any solid information about anything, only took 10 minutes of questions, and showed the first ep of Kiba for the rest of the panel.

The End.
